How a punch happens

Fifteen seconds, and nothing to sign.

01A code on any screenPut it on a spare tablet or the billing monitor. It changes every ten seconds, so a photograph of it is worthless.
02Your staff scan itThey open the app, point at the code, and look at the camera. No password, no card, nothing to lose.
03The office decidesNot the phone. The server checks who it is and where they are, then writes the time from its own clock.

What gets checked

Five things have to agree before a punch counts.

Most cheap attendance apps take a selfie and trust it. We do the checking where nobody can reach it — on your own server. Each check has its own three tries, so a weak signal never costs somebody their face attempts.

The faceIt has to be themThree photos when they join become their record. Every punch photo is measured against it here, not on the phone. A friend holding their phone is refused.
The placeThey have to be thereYou draw a ring around your property on a map. A punch from home, or from the tea stall down the road, does not count.
The codeTen seconds, then goneThe code on your screen is built from a secret that never leaves the server. Nobody can screenshot it and share it later.
The phoneTheir phone, not any phoneThe first phone somebody uses becomes theirs. Another one is refused until you release it.
MovementA person, not a photographTwo photos, one after they turn their head. A printed photo held up to the camera does not move, and does not pass.
The clockOurs, never theirsEvery punch is stamped by the server. Changing the time on a phone achieves nothing.

What it does not do yet.

We would rather tell you now than have you find out. Haaziri does not calculate PF, ESI or professional tax — hours and pay come out as a spreadsheet you or your accountant finish. Alerts appear on your screen; they are not yet sent to your phone by SMS. And the movement check stops somebody holding up a printed photo, but a video played on a screen can still get through — that needs a proper app, which is being built.
